Skala Eressos Transfers, Flights & Accommodation

Some things we think you should know!

FLIGHTS: Compared to other destinations there are fewer direct flights to Lesvos than we would like and that means that seats can fill up fast, and prices can rise dramatically the later you book. Occasionally there are last minute deals available, but we can't guarantee availability or location on the island, so please, if you want to go to Skala Eressos, don't dither! Direct flights only leave from Manchester or Gatwick and are only available on Thursdays. If you can't travel on Thursdays, we have other options for you. You can fly via Athens from most UK airports and connect with a 50 minute internal flight to Lesvos any day of the week. Or, you could choose to spend a few days either side of your break in Skala by stopping off in Germany or Holland... now there's a novel idea! Ask and all shall be revealed.

TRANSFERS: Now, planes from the U.K arrive too late for you to catch a bus from Mytilini (where the airport is) to Skala which is 96km away so there are only two options for transfers from the airport. Pre booked taxi, or car hire. Taxi fares are an expensive part of your holiday so in order to keep your costs down we would suggest you share a taxi with others. We will do this automatically for you. Please bear in mind that because there are only a certain number of taxi's available which will travel such a long way across the island, you do need to pre-book your transfer with us. Car hire is an excellent choice and compared to the taxi fare, extremely good value. We can add a car to your holiday cost which will be available to you upon landing. Driving across the island is relatively easy and the breathtaking scenery is definitely worth getting over any nervousness you may be feeing about driving abroad.

We are able to offer 'Tailor Made' holidays from Manchester and Gatwick. These include a return flight which we purchase for you separately and of course your transfer and your accommodation charges.
