The excellent Gay friendly twelve story Oratava Palace provides the perfect high class base for a top-notch Puerto de la Cruz holiday. Less than five minutes’ walk from the Lido and the beach, the hotel is decked out beautifully with superb designer furniture, fixtures and fittings and this air of quality is apparent as soon as you walk in.

Every room is air conditioned with a balcony, sumptuous bathrooms, satellite TV, a mini bar and a safe for hire, and you can opt for smoking or non-smoking rooms (don’t forget to tell us when you book whether or not you’re a smoker). Full maid service takes place every day. And if you’re feeling particularly flashy, you might well be tempted by one of the hotel’s suites which feature a bedroom, living room, fab bathrooms with hydromassage baths and – what’s more – your own terrace with your very own Jacuzzi! General facilities here at the Oratava include a couple of swimming pools, one of which is heated, a games room, gym, a sauna, a Turkish bath, a beauty salon, a couple of bars and two restaurants. Service is second-to-none – extremely polite and attentive – and if you need to stay in touch with your commercial empire while you’re away, there’s a business centre on site with internet access and a fax.
