TRAVEL ADVICE FROM THE FOREIGN & COMMONWEALTH OFFICE The purpose of the FCO is to work for UK interests in a safe, just and prosperous world. We do this with some 16,000 staff, based in the UK and our overseas network of over 200 diplomatic offices.
 


THE 'KNOW BEFORE YOU GO CAMPAIGN' Launched in 2001, ‘Know Before You Go’ is an ongoing consular awareness campaign run by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO). It encourages British nationals to be better prepared for their overseas trips with a view to avoiding common travelling traumas, risks and dangers.


HOLIDAY INSURANCE For us, this is probably the most important aspect of your holiday booking, and it should be for you too. If you travel without holiday insurance you are inviting problems. No one likes to think of something happening whilst you are away but we cannot recommend travel insurance strongly enough so please, take the time to get some!
