Parker Guest House - San Francisco
The Parker Guest House is a 1909 Edwardian mini-mansion with 21 guest rooms and extensive gardens located in San Francisco’s vibrant Castro District. Although catering primarily to the gay and lesbian traveller everyone is welcome here and what a welcoming little place it is. Here you will find an ornate sense of decor throughout with well appointed and spacious public rooms featuring two separate lounges, fireplace, piano, sherry service, data ports and library. Complete business and convention traveller amenities include concierge, business centre, small meeting areas, flexible breakfast hours, in-room data ports, in-room desks, cable TV, private phone and voice mail, flexible check-in times, and on site parking. All rooms also have ensuite tiled bathrooms (although if you re really on a budget you might consider an economy Queen room with shared bathroom), modem port, down comforters, terry cloth robes and luxury bath products.
Extended continental breakfast served daily in the sunroom includes pastry, fresh fruit salad, cereals, yogurt, toast, English muffins, fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee and tea. Complimentary afternoon wine social offered every day either in the main living room by the fire, in the sun room or in the gardens.
