RESPECT LOS ALMENDROS - PLAYA DEL INGLES

The Respect Los Almendros has rapidly established itself as one of Playa del Ingles’ most sought after exclusively-gay holiday accommodation. Los Almendros is located right opposite the main entrance to the Cita. This means it’s about a 10 minute walk from the all important Yumbo Centre and approximately the same distance from the start of the beach. Just remember: turn left for the sea and right for the scene.

There are 33 bungalows here, all with air conditioning (there will be a deposit for the remote control which is returned to you upon departure), which offer a choice of  twin or double bedroom, a comfy living-room with a sofabed for a third guest, a kitchenette, which incorporates a fridge with a freezer compartment, a couple of cooking rings and enough cutlery and crockery for basic self-catering, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. Irons and ironing boards are provided and safety deposit boxes can be hired at reception.

Every bungalow has two televisions for rent (a small weekly charge is payable locally), one in the living-room and another in the bedroom. In addition to offering a selection of satellite TV stations, you can also access Los Almendros’ in house adult movies.  Your own furnished patio is great for al fresco dining or for soaking up the sunshine while relaxing on your own sunbed.

The whole complex has plenty of lawned areas dotted around so you can pitch camp wherever you fancy, and that includes by the pool. There are a few pool side bungalows but these do book out first so if you want one, don't delay!

As well as the pool, there is an enormous Jacuzzi which heated during the winter months. There’s a bar on site and a restaurant called Amigos, which offers a sophisticated selection of rather tasty cuisine. Internet access is provided from reception and in-house laundry service (both payable locally) and a small outdoor fitness area. Clothing is optional in the Los Almendros and maid service is included  five times a week with your towels being changed three times a week and your bed linen twice.
