ARTEMISIA HOTEL - BERLIN - WOMEN ONLY 

 

The Artemisia is the first hotel only for women in Berlin. Located centrally in the West of the City (just a short walk from many shops, theatres, cinemas, bars and restaurants) on the top floors of an old, modernised Berlin mansion building (don't panic.. there is a lift!) offering just 12 select rooms, a conference room and an idyllic sun deck.

The changing art display of paintings by women artists contribute to the unique atmosphere of our hotel. Women travellers can find complete comfort and convenience here. If you come to Berlin, for business or pleasure, this woman-identified atmosphere will make your stay a memorable experience. 

The staff are friendly and welcoming and are always on hand to offer you information and advise to discover and enjoy this vibrant, beautiful and historic city.

All rooms have been lovingly renovated with individual and modern furnishings creating light, bright, quiet and comfortable accommodation. A choice of single, double, triple and quad rooms are offered and you can specify if you would like a non smoking room. Most have private en-suite bathroom with shower, although if you are on a tight budget then a shared bathroom may be the choice for you. All rooms also have telephone, cable television and wireless internet.. oh, and a hairdryer!

   

The hotel also offers a conference-room which women's groups and organizations can use for meetings, conferences and gatherings up to 25 persons. Refreshments can be provided by prior arrangement and at a small additional cost. Lunch for a minimum of ten can also be prepared for you.

Named after ARTEMISIA GENTILESCHI, a great Italian painter born 1593 in Florence and the hotel honours her memory with an ever changing display of painting by women artists who contribute their work to be hung in the hotel rooms and public areas. 

The daily buffet breakfast has a variety of items to please everyone, and is available from early to noon. In summer you can enjoy your breakfast on our large sun deck. There  you may relax and enjoy the view over Berlin. Women, who are not hotel guests, can have breakfast, too.
